2025. Renovation and Addition.
Nestled under towering pines, this unique 1960’s underwent a transformation to enhance the ability of the owners to age in place. The custom home was built with an indoor pool, the moisture had degraded the roof structure over time. The superstructure of the pool wing was demolished and redesigned with a new dramatic shed style rood with natural cedar siding.
Instead of filling the existing pool, the pool became a basement storage area with stairs and a new living room was built above, in an effort to reorganize the core program of the house all on one level to make it fully accessible and future-proof.
